I got this slightly-battered hardcover at a local Savers thrift shop. It contains a good selection of classic horror stories, some supernatural, some not, including Roald Dahl's "Man from the South", Clark Ashton Smith's very creepy "The Seed from the Sepulchre", Ambrose Bierce's darkly comic "Oil of Dog", H. G. Wells' utterly nightmarish "The Cone" [I mean that literally - that one gave me nightmares when I first read it, and it's still a harsh read], Robert Bloch's "Lizzie Borden Took an Axe...", Stanley Ellins' "Specialty of the House," and Lovecraft's "Pickman's Model" - plus many more.
