An evening in Amsterdam and two couples meet for dinner. They need to discuss their teenage sons. The boys committed a horrifying act, caught on CCTV. They remain unidentified - except by their parents. How far will each couple go to protect their child?
A good, solid read, which I really enjoyed. Told from the perspective of one of the fathers, who seemed to have a lot of anger management problems of his own. This story brings up quite a few moral issues, and you do wonder what you would do in similar situations.

The unreliable narrator is a big part of this story, as a dinner between two brothers and their spouses examines family dynamics.
I was a little frustrated at how little the women were developed, but this is probably due to the first person narrative (who was a rather self absorbed person).
Recommended.
