5 out of 10

The beginning, end, and story line were laudable; an interesting basis for a plot. I very much liked the story, trials and tribulations of the characters. It explored PTSD, adolescence, adulthood, and more. However, the book made graphic detail of a multitude of subplots and had pages upon pages of minuscule details.
