Autobiography of an Englishman who allowed his son-in-law to trick him into coming to Australia in 1981. He has spent years in the navy and airforce and then settled with his wife on the Central Coast of NSW. This book is meant to show that without conscious effort a young fellow just leaving school was able to travel far and wide, never reaching the top in anything he did. But, on reflection, these years haven’t been so bad after all.
