I am relieved to have finished the series following the fortunes of the March family. I just found it all too moralistic, pious and coated with far too much sugar for my tastes. It was marginally better than the previous 3 books but I think I have overdosed enough on this author and will not be reading any more. I just don't like her style, classic or not.

I read this book many years ago in my teens and enjoye it then, and I am loking forward to reading it again.
