My 2nd copy of this book, signed by Woody himself, and sent to me from the UK by Woody's wife June. I am really thrilled to receive this - it is so kind of June and Woody to send me this copy. I tried to buy it originally from Premiere Collectibles, but my order couldn't go through, and my $$ was refunded - even so, when June found out, she insisted on mailing me a copy. I think perhaps it was because the night I saw Woody and his band Holy Holy in Toronto (Jan. 2016) I was unable to meet Woody and get his autograph, as the "meet and greet" was cancelled, since it was the first gig after David died. When you realize that only Tony Visconti (Holy Holy band member) knew that David was ill - what a shock it must've been for the rest of the band members to hear David had died. There was no lead up, no news of cancer or anything. Anyway, I am so pleased to have this book, and I will treasure it. Woody is the last surviving member of the Spiders from Mars, the band that took David from warbling folkie, to rock & roll superstar.
