A friend of mine kept telling me I needed to read Francine Rivers. I wasn't sure about it. I didn't want a story that kept bringing my mind back to scripture and God. But this book hooked me! I love this retelling of the story of Hosea. Francine doesn't pound her message into her readers heads, instead she speaks to their hearts.
