I got this slightly-battered softcover from the Salvation Army thrift store. I've enjoyed many of Dahl's dark-humored (and sometimes just plain dark) stories over the years, and this tale of kids who fall foul of witches and wind up turned into mice is definitely both funny and quite dark. The book inspired a 1990 live-action film, and as often happens, it was tweaked quite a bit from the original material.
