I've read a lot of Jude Deveraux and always enjoy her, but this one not so much. At first I thougth the whole sub-plot with Berni and The Kitchen could have been left out, but later of course she did become integral to the storyline. Regardless, this one just wasn't as appealing to me as Deveraux normally is.

I'm including this in beckasdream's romance/chic lit book box, to be mailed out this week.
