Eccleston was my first true Doctor. I had watched a few random episodes before, but never actually got into the universe. Previously I had watched Torchwood which I still adore and decided to give this cool, dark new fellow a try. Needless to say Eccleston did a brilliant job. I couldn't resist the doctor any longer. The ninth will always have a special place in my understanding of Dr Who .
