I thoroughly enjoyed this story, both in book form and as a movie. I thought it was magical and it transported me in a way I like my stories to work.

Released on Thursday, June 03, 2004 at post office--controlled release! in Pineville, North Carolina USA.

Shipped this off to kdhnow to get things started. Thanks for joining the ray, I hope y'all enjoy the book=)

Okay, so here are the rules:
* Journal when you’ve received the book (so we know it’s not lost).

* Journal when you’ve finished the book (let us know what you thought).

* PM the person whose name appears next on the list for their mailing address and send them the book! (If you're the last name on the list, PM me for my address.) And don't forget to make another journal entry to let us know it's been sent to the next ring participant!

* Please PM the next person in line when you RECEIVE the book. That way when you are finished reading it, hopefully you will have the info you need to send it on without waiting. If you have not heard from them in 10 days, please PM the next in line and contact me.

* Please do not hold onto the book longer than 30 days. (Of course, if you finish it in 3, by all means, send it on!) Remember, there are others who are anxiously awaiting the opportunity to read the book, so try to be as timely as possible!

* I recommend you use some sort of tracking (the U.S. has "Delivery Confirmation" though I am uncertain of what other countries have available to them)

Also, if you'd like, please “autograph” the inside of the back cover of the book with your screen name, city, and state/country, so whoever “catches” this book later can learn a little about its history, even if he or she chooses not to visit the Book Crossing site.

Thank you for your participation!

Sent to indymomto2 on 6/15/04. I really enjoyed this book. I thought the ending was rather abbrupt, but that could just be that I didn't want to be finished reading it. Thanks stardustedangel for sharing!

Okay, maybe I'm dense, but I didn't get it. I couldn't see what the attraction is for this disjointed story collection. If this is the best of mystical love stories, I'll stick with cheesy murder mysteries. Mailing it out to lemondrop622 with hopes she enjoys it much more than I did.

Yes, I did enjoy this book much more than NGraceD did ;) I found it to be disjointed also, but I still loved it. I thought it had fun, magical moments as well as heartbreaking ones. I kept wanting to see what would happen next, so I was very frustrated when our power went out at night during Charley, while I was reading. (Thankfully, there wasn't any serious damage to my place.) I liked all the parts about food and cooking also, it made me want to go in the kitchen and whip up something tasty :) The ending was strange, but not in a bad way. Thanks stardustedangel for starting this ray so I could read this lovely book!

I'm planning to send this off soon, I'll make another entry when I do.

This arrived in today's post - really looking foward to it! I didn't see the film so I have no expectations. It will be this coming weekend's reading...ah, I can just imagine it: Saturday morning, sunlight streaming in, breakfast in bed and a good book! Thanks stardusteangel and lilysmom...
