Saw this book on the buffet table and it looks up my street (space ships and strange moons on the cover) so I picked it up and the Loughborough Unconvention.

Spaceships and strange planets as it turns out. Written from alternate perspectives, the book relies on the "unreliable author" principle, and does so well. One main protagonist has no memory, the other is scheming. As the two go onto their different journeys, the strangeness of the universe they live in becomes more central to the story. The end felt slightly rushed, but all in all a good story.
