I found these stories to be well-written, with particularly beautiful language in places. I enjoyed some of them more than others. As with much modern fiction, the subject matter seems at times artificially nudged toward the edgy, the sexual, and the taboo. My favorites in the collection were "Love Is Not a Pie" and "Psychoanalysis Changed My Life."
