I bought this from the Wyevale Garden Centre, Cheltenham during our coffee stop yesterday lunchtime, when driving North after our holiday in the South West. They have a bookcase of second hand books raising funds for the Marie Curie cancer charity, to which I was pleased to donate my pound, as requested. I don't know why I chose it, except that it looks interesting . . . .

From Google Overview: " Noah is four and wants to go home. The only trouble is he's already home.Janie's son is her world, and it breaks her heart that he has nightmares. That he's terrified of water. That he sometimes pushes her away and screams that he wants his real mother. That it's getting worse and worse and no-one seems to be able to help.In desperation, she turns to someone who might have an answer - but it may not be one she's ready to hear.It may also mean losing the one thing she loves more than anything. Noah.A novel that spans life, death and everything in between, The Forgetting Time tells an unforgettable story - about Noah, about love, and, above all, about the things we hold onto when we have nothing else."

A strong story with some strong characters and interesting themes along the lines of reincarnation or enduring memories or contuining consciousness or love that lasts beyond death or something . . . . Anyway, I found it gripping, quite a page-turner.

WILD RELEASE NOTES:

From one Wyevale Garden Centre to another. This is being offered a second time in aid of the Marie Curie cancer charity :-)

Well over a million people around the world give their books a unique BookCrossing IDentity number (BCID) before sending them out to find new readers. Since the start of the scheme in April 2001 over twelve million such books have been put into circulation. This is one of them!

Our hope is that we can track the progress of our books once they've left our hands - and that's possible if finders like you visit the website, key in the BCID and leave a comment, however long or short. It's fun, it doesn't have to cost anything, although the site always appreciates donations towards running costs, and you can remain anonymous if you wish. You don't have to join but if you do you'll be able to number and track your own books!
