I bought this book at a local charity shop and read it out loud with my husband much earlier in the year. I have been saving it for a special release, but apparently I forgot to register it when I bought it!

In celebration of the sesquicentennial, I have dedicated my 2017 bookcrossing activity to the reading and sharing of Canadian stories. Robert Munsch is kind of a classic Canadian children's author, so I decided to include a few of his books in my Canada 150 project.

After spending the morning in Eugenia, ON doing the Ovarian Cancer Canada Walk of Hope, my husband and I made a detour in order to have a Canadian experience that neither of us had ever had before-- walking on the World's Longest Freshwater Beach in Wasaga Beach, ON! After a picnic lunch down by the water and spending some time on the beach, we set out towards home. On our way out of town, we stopped at McDonald's to use the washroom and get drinks for the drive, and while we were there I left this book. I left it on the table in an adorable little booth for two near the washrooms. I am not sure of the time, but I think it was between 5 and 6 PM, probably closer to 6.

This book was released as part of the 2017 "52 Towns in 52 Weeks" Release Challenge. I am actually finished my 52 and am on to "extra" towns now-- Wasaga Beach was Town #54 for me!
