Seconds: A Graphic Novel

Seconds explores the life long questions "what if I had made a different decision?" and "should I eat this mushroom?"
I love the art style, humor, and writing.
I highly recommend this standalone graphic novel.

Bringing to the September Calgary BookCrossing meetup.
Got this book from the monthly book crossing meeting at Cravings Market Restaurant.
I really enjoyed this book!
I don't read many graphic novels, but my god I might just have to start after this one. A story about second guessing your life's biggest decisions, and living your alternate timeline. I love the urban mythology involved in this story.
Definitely a book I'd recommend to almost anyone.
oh and the art style is amazing

Releasing this book at the monthly book crossing meeting at Cravings Market Restaurant.
Picked up this book at the Calgary BookCrossing January meet-up. Looks like a cute and quirky graphic novel from the same guy who did Scott Pilgrim.
I read this in one sitting. The idea of taking the easy way out when things get hard is a classic storytelling element, but I like the unique take here with the house spirit and the alternative timelines. The art was also super cute.
Passing on this book to the next reader at the Calgary BookCrossing February meet-up.
Picked up at the meeting today :)
Completely fun - not as awesome as Scott Pilgrim, but satisfying.
Taking to the Calgary Bookcrossing meeting at Cravings to find a new reader :)

I read this book as part of my November United Way reading challenge for work since a really tawdry romance hold came up at the library in the middle of the challenge and I needed something fast to replace it in my official count! I enjoyed the house spirits and the mythology - I'm getting a norse vibe but I'm not sure. This one will go to Mom next time I see her.
My daughter passed these off to me at Christmas.
I got confused periodically but overall it was a fun read. Love those do overs. If only we could do over things in our lives where we kind of blow it. Also - you do something that you think will make the situation better and WRONG!
I am releasing this into the Covid Book Box that is circulating.
Pulled this out of the book box while doing some clean up
