I borrowed this book from my daughter when she came to visit me when I was at Ca le scope in Italy.
Interesting story but not very realistic. I'm returning the book to my daughter.

The book is back in my cupboard.

2-11-2013: I spent most of yesterday in bed reading this book and I loved it. A bit science fiction this time instead of the medical novels I'm used to, but entertaining. I escpecially loved the ending!
I'm reserving this book to send as a RABCK extra to Barcino who sent me Tribute by Nora Roberts.

Thank you dutch-flybabe for sending me this book! A fantastic surprise (especially since there were two books in the parcel! :)
I'll try to read it soon -I'm sure my husband'll want to read it too ;) -and pass it on.

Update: (9th February 2014, post- reading) I found it a bit disappointing at first (and boring when it's all about the dive and getting ready blah-dibla) since I thought it'd be a bit like Coma, that 70s film with Michael Douglas (which I only now realised is based on a book also by R Cook!). But Abduction is not at all a medical thriller. It's more like a sci-fi novel that at times I thought would be better received by a teen audience. However, I kept on reading and eventually found myself trapped in the story and could not put it down! I really enjoyed the ending and the twist about one of the characters. I did not see that coming and their final reaction made me change my opinion of them completely. As I suspected, my husband also wants to read it. I shall release it as soon as he's done with it.

Released 9 yrs ago (5/18/2014 UTC) at Little Free Library at 900 Santa Barbara Rd in Berkeley, California USA
