The Fate of the Dwarves is the final installment in the four book Dwarves series by German, Markus Heitz. Translated into english by Sheelagh Alabaster this book is the height of the series. A book of greater length than many, it is none the less one that seems to fly due to the fact you cannot put it down for a minute.

After years Tungdil Goldhand, the dwarven hero is back from the Abyss. But, he has changed. Some believe him to be the same, other think him turned to the darkness. This thrilling story, while more challenging due to its length and the fact it was translated, is still likely on my top 10 list of books. The ending is a twist no one could expect. The book keeps you on the edge of your seat so much that at the end you will most definitely fall off. Read the story of Tungdil's last great adventure. The Abyss has opened and darkness flies forth. Follow along as your read Heitz's gripping conclusion in Tungdil's fight to protect Girdlegard.
