I loved this story about the Italian immigrants to the United States before the great war. The heroine is a beautiful young girl who works to send money home to enable her family to buy a house. She falls in love with a young man from the old country who was raised in a convent and sent away because he was at the wrong place at the wrong time and saw the priest in a compromising position.
