Georgian London. Summer 1763.

Anne Jaccob is coming of age, the daughter of a wealthy merchant. This is a deliciously dark & quirky tale. Anne is a fabulous creation. Starved of love at home she falls head of heels in love with the butchers boy. It never seems to cross Anne's mind that their love cannot be, indeed her father is already planning her marriage to the odious Onions. However, Anne is not about to let anyone come between her & her love & she is not a woman to be crossed!

Gritty, gripping & at times gruesome, the story of Anne's endeavours to be with her love will keep you hooked ;o)
