Journal Entry 1 by cliff1976 from Regensburg, Bayern Germany on Saturday, March 20, 2004
I've heard good things from my wife about this one. I'll probably devour it in another airport (there have been a lot of airports in my life lately).

Can't say I was overly thrilled with this one, but it helped to pass the time those first couple of days — especially Sundays and bank holidays where the whole freakin' country shuts down (unless you're in the mood for a beer...and who isn't?). The wife — that still sounds kinda weird to me, but I've only been married for about 3% of my life thus far — promises me that "Confessions" is a much better Maguire work.

This was my first Gregory M. book. I've never read the original L. Frank Baum Oz books, so a lot of the details were new to me. A good, dense read.

Thank you so much! I'll make a longer journal entry once I am done with reading! Too heavy to send internationally- sorry!
