Death of a Cad (Hamish Macbeth Mysteries, No. 2)

A book that I recently acquired for the purposes of giving it away.
A solid installment in the series and another chance to hang out with Hamish MacBeth et al. His devotion to the village of Lochdubh is firmly established as is his cheapness and willingness to skirt the law for the greater good. The mystery was pretty decent in that I could guess the killer and the motive even though the clues as to how were scarce. A decent companion during a 6 hour ER visit with my mother.
