I bought this book ages ago at a local charity shop here in my hometown of Cambridge, Ontario. It's been with me for a long time but I've decided it's about time to pass it along. The style of writing in this book is not my favourite, but I have to give credit where credit is due-- there are a lot of quirky/interesting stories and places in this book! I'd love to be able to see them all!

In celebration of the sesquicentennial, I have dedicated this year's bookcrossing activity to the reading and sharing of Canadian stories. I am registering this book of "Humorous, Bizzare, Peculiar & Strange Locations & Attractions Across the Nation" as part of my Canada 150 project.

I've brought this book on a very long drive with me-- all the way from Ontario to British Columbia and now back into Alberta!

I can't drive, but I've been reading parts of this to my husband as he drives us across the western part of our great big, beautiful "home and native land." We finished up with it somewhere in south western Saskatchewan (I think that's where it was). As I said before, I don't like the writing much, but the stories and places are interesting. My husband felt the same.

Tonight, we are spending the night in one of the interesting places. We have things to do/something to attend in Nanton, AB tonight and in the morning, so we are staying in the nearby town of Vulcan. I hope to leave it somewhere in town while we're here.

WILD RELEASE NOTES:

I actually left this hanging from the Captain Janeway face hole in the Star Trek cutouts board, not with the starship itself.

If you've found this book, thanks for picking it up and checking out its journal! If you're new to bookcrossing, welcome. We'd love it if you'd stick around with us a while. I really hope that you enjoy both this book and the whole bookcrossing experience!

This book was released as part of the 2017 "52 Towns in 52 Weeks" Release Challenge. Vulcan was Town #40 for me!

I found this book when we were taking a picture of my head in the Star Trek cutout board in Vulcan. Needless to say, I was a little surprised when the book fell out. I brought the book home to Edmonton and had fun reading it, especially since I've seen a few of the places mentioned in it. We are travelling to BC tomorrow and plan to leave it somewhere in the Osoyoos area where I hope someone else will find it and enjoy it.
