Another Goldy Schultz mystery. I liked the narrator of this books, good voice and inflections.

Snyopsis: Goldie is a caterer in Colorado and her husband is a cop. She accepts a catering gig at Hyde Castle and is determined it will go well so she can pick up other bookings. Of course, everythings goes horribly wrong. First, someone shoots out her picture window and her home becomes a crime scene. She shows up hours early at Hyde Castle and finds a dead body floating in the Cottonwood Creek. She calls for help and before they arrive, shots ring out and someone she loves is injured.

Does all this tie into the investigation of stolen million dollar stamps Tom is working on? Or does it have something to do with "The Jerk", her ex-husband who was recently released from jail? And why has Tom's supposedly long dead fiance suddenly found sitting in front of their home?

As Goldy sticks her nose further into this multi-layered investigation, her life again is placed in peril.

Received in the mail several days ago in trade. Is it supposed to only have three tapes, or am I missing one? Otherwise, it arrived safea and sound.

I'm not that big on audio books, but I really enjoyed listening to this one. I've been working on my Halloween costume, and it was nice to listen to while I worked. It also inspired me to do some baking (yes, so it was a mix, but the cupcakes still tasted good).
I even checked a few more from this series out of the library to listen to. I have a long drive ahead of me tonight, so I'll get through another one, I think.
Overall, a nice, light mystery that was well read.
