Van Harlan Coben heb ik wel betere gelezen. Teveel volk in het verhaal, onnodig veel gereis en onwaarschijnlijke beschrijvingen van rijkdom die aan het verhaal niets toevoegen. Raar plot, ingewikkeld verhaal dat, als de aap eenmaal uit de mouw komt, toch heel anders en veel minder complex is. Ja zeg dat dan meteen. Nu ja. Een mooi citaat is er wel uit te halen:
adies, here's a little seduction tip: It doesn't take a lot to get your man in the mood. You know this already. You see all those articles in women's magazines about how to seduce a man, how to use massage oils or candles or music to get him in the mood. Men, for better of for worse, aren't that complicated. Here are two short articles on how to seduce your man:
“Ask him if he wants to have sex” And:
“Say ‘Yes, that would be nice. ’ ”
