Bambi: A Life in the Woods
2 journalers for this copy...
Registered in memory of my daughter, who was tragically killed on 30 August 2010. My mother read this to me and my brothers when we were kids, and I wish I had read this to my daughters, but they only ever heard the Disney version of this story.

I'm setting this aside for a fellow BookCrosser who expressed an interest in reading this book after we talked about it. I glanced through it briefly (mostly to make sure this edition is unabridged, which it appears to be) and I noticed that the ending is NOT quite what I remembered. Perhaps I need to re-read this before I pass it along...
I'm bringing this to tomorrow's BC-in-DC meeting to pass along to another BCer who asked me to set this aside for her.
Controlled release to me by "ResQgeek". I mentioned at last months BCinDC meet-up that I love the original fairy tales and he mentioned he had a copy of the original "Bambi" story, the one from which Disney got his idea for the "Bambi" animated film. Thanks for remembering.
This book was originally registered by "ResQGeek" in memory of his daughter Becky.
I've read the book and feel it is only fitting to release it for the 9th Annual Becky's Hugs release challenge in memory of Becky the daughter of fellow BC'er ResQGeek. Becky loved animals, especially horses and cats. She loved reading Nancy Drew novels. She was born on Valentine's day. She would be 18 yo this year. Her favorite colors were red & pink. https://www.bookcrossing.com/forum/23/557778
