I collected the Time-Life "Enchanted World" series back when it first came out, in the 1980s - and I've had the books on my keeper shelves ever since, though I've only dipped into them at rare intervals. I think it's high time they went traveling!

All of the books in the series feature lots of illustrations, summaries of various legends appropriate to each volume's theme, and extensive bibliographies and reference sections for further reading. This one focuses on tales of witches and wizards from different cultures, including the famed Merlin as well as others less well-known.

I left this book on a window ledge of Killarney's Irish pub - which is tucked inside the Holiday Inn - at around 8:30; hope the finder enjoys it!
