The reappearance of the long-gone imaginary friend leads you to see a kid's perspective on things when his parents are struggling to make ends meet. You can see the power of positivity but cannot ignore the effect of negativity on people who are less aware. While this is not an overly exciting children book, it can be potentially a good parenting book though.
