A chase down the madness
of stark reality,
out of the minds of cartoons.

This lucky little book has become part of Supertalya's bookbox! :)
This was always one of my favorite strips in the Sunday papers. Amusing and very clever. I still like to read them and I thought it would be good to add to the box for some variety.
Hope someone will enjoy it. :)

Supertayla's bookbox got here safely!
I read this comic quite a bit back in the day. However, As I was a child in the late 80's a lot of the political humor went over my head. It wasn't until I hit high school in the early 90's that I began to appreciate the humor of this comic. So flash forward to 2018 and I'm reading a book collecting a story line from 1989. Almost 20 years ago. I have to admit that I had a hard time with this one because of the Donald Trump's brain inside Bill the Cat's body plot line. Because of today's political landscape with Trump as president. He comes off as an insane little man in this comic from so long ago, and it makes me wonder when did satire hit so close to home, and why did this crazy man end up in charge of the country I live in?
