As always, Gladwell's books are entertaining, thought-provoking and eye-opening. We will be so used to a way of thinking, and he comes around and shows us a different way of seeing things, and it's like scales falling off your eyes!
The book begins with a very interesting analysis of David and Goliath's battle, and it goes on to talk about class sizes (smaller is better, no?), dyslexia (you won't wish that on your child, or would you?), prestige universities (don't you want your child to go to an Ivy League school?) Turns out it's not always better if your family is more well off, or if crime punishment is harsher.
