A con man has fleeced her out of $5,000 and her brother is in jail accused of murder, can anything else go wrong for Dorie Howe. She tracks down the con man at his sons, ex-cop Bret Donovan and she wants her money back. Desperate, she agrees to help Bret get his mountain retreat ready for its opening. From there the story evolves into a nice little romance. A good read!
