7 out of 10

This book reminds me of a book I read a long time ago and which I had until a recent move. A girl moves in with a family and slowly begins to take over the family. The only person in the family who's not under her spell and sees through her two-faced behavior is the teenaged daughter.

This book is a light read and I finished it in no time. I always did like Lois Duncan and even though I knew where the plot was going she still writes well enough that her stories are engrossing, even if they're not really complicated.

**This book is going to either an SA Bookcrosser when we meetup 03/18/04 at Taco Cabana 8516 FREDERICKSBURG RD 78229 or left randomly at the TCs.**
