The contributions of the MIS (Military Intelligence Service) were not widely known for a long time due to security concerns: now they are finally getting the recognition they deserve. Many of them worked as translators, but apparently Arthur Komori was actually a spy behind enemy lines.
This looks like an interesting read...and I must have thought so, because I have *two* copies, which both look new. UH Press, so they probably both came from the Hawaii Book & Music Festival at some point. One was purchased in 2015. (Larger photo here.)
