"Growing up was easy. It required no thought or effort on my part. It was going to happen anyway. So what follows isn't terribly eventful, I'm afraid. And yet it was by a very large margin the most fearful, thrilling, interesting, instructive, eye-popping, lustful, eager, troubled, untroubled, confused, serene and unnerving time of my life. Coincidentally, it was all those Things for America, too".
Having read most of Bill Bryson's travel memoirs, and finding them hilarious, I was thrilled to find his autobiography. It didn't disappoint - I loved reading this book. Now happy to pass on to the lucky winner of the non-fiction sweeps, to a Reader who enjoys biographies. I hope this is one you haven't already read!

Happy travels! Don't forget to write home every now and then, little book!

This book arrived at the same time as the one for the Canadian Sweeps; abd yes, I consider myself extremely lucky to receive such beautiful (and interesting) books!
Looking forward to reading this biography; thanks again, you have been brilliant as usual! :)
