Selected to read in July

Did we really receive enough clues ourselves to solve this mystery? Even the detective, following logical clues, could not keep up with Miss Marple. I didn't mind trailing the detective from clue and interview to clue and interview, but when Miss Marple shows up there is no point in trying to logic the thing anymore, she simply comes up with the right answer, which was not evident to the detective or me, and explains it all to us. As an armchair detective, I kind of resent Miss Marple.
