Even if we had to wait the first hundred pages, this second volume is worth it because we got back to its nonstandard heroine and her not-so-nice family.

My comment is going to be identical to that of Volume 1.
I think it's really long at the begining, and after having read it entirely, I wonder what certain passages bring to the story (I do not say which ones voluntarily, not to spoil the reading of people who read my comment before reading the book). Maybe in the 3rd volume I will find the answer!
And then after a while, I would say almost half of the book, it gets interesting, and I really wanted to know what would happen next.

In fact I like the story, but I do not appreciate the author's way of writing. My friend who saw the movies tells me that he had this same impression of "slowness", that may not be just a style that suits us.

Let's now see what awaits us with Volume 3!
