Jenna Metcalf was with her mother the night she disappeared, but she remembers nothing.
In the wake of those tragic events, she has lost not one parent, but two: her father is in an asylum, and now she lives with her grandmother - who finds it too painful to talk about what happened.
Ten years on, Jenna is the only one who still seems to care. And she is determined to seek the truth, no matter how shocking and life-changing it might be . . .
I found this book in a temporary open book shelf at a recent festival. I was so thrilled to find one of my wishlist books - I feel like it had been waiting there for me. :D

This is Jodi Picoult's book I liked least so far but that doesn't mean that it wasn't good. I simply love Jodi Picoult!
The plot was really twisted and I love how everything is kind of a surprise at the end.
I realized that I accidentially used a children's bookplate for it - ooooops. Well, I think noone will mind.
And while reading I discovered a receipt and it seems like this book has been bought in China. So it doesn't start travelling in Austria but most likely it did in Asia, hehe.
Next stop: France! :)

I love finding a receipt or some odd stuff in a book, perhaps it was just a bookmark, go figure. :D
Fantasy isn't my thing but I enjoyed this book and the big twist.
