The bestselling author of Bring Her Home and Cemetery Girl presents a twist filled thriller about a troubled family whose secrets should be taken to the grave...

The past has arrived uninvited at Jason Danvers’s door in the form of his younger sister, Hayden, a former addict who severed all contact with her family as her life spiraled out of control. Now she’s clean and sober but in need of a desperate favor—she asks Jason and his wife to take care of her teenage daughter for forty-eight hours while she handles some business in town.

But Hayden never returns.

And her disappearance brings up more unresolved problems from Jason’s past, including the abrupt departure of his best friend on their high school graduation night twenty-seven years earlier. When a body is discovered in the woods, the mysteries of his sister’s life—and possible death—deepen. And one by one these events will shatter every expectation Jason has ever had about families, about the awful truths that bind them.

Let's see, how much did I enjoy this book? I started it and read it in one sitting. Wow! Such a good read, kept me turning the pages with all the subtle twists and turns in the plot. I just love reading Bell's work. Why? Well, they are stories with which we can relate; characters we can like or at least understand; and the plot twists and turns are things in everyday life. Bell knows how to draw you in and immerse you in his tale. Totally enjoyable, a must read thriller/mystery. Enjoy all. No spoilers here.

Now traveling to T02S03B11D20 as a Wishlist RABCK.

Happy Reading and Happy BookCrossing!
