My infamous book curse hit again: a well-praised book that eeeevvryone loves turns to a pumpkin in my hands. I'm bummed to say I just didn't like the book! The plot was too far fetched, though the base idea was great for a thriller (or a survival story). I had a hard time liking Jenna, found her actions somewhat implausible at times and on several occasions I just wanted to kick her... Imho, the book was trying to be too many things at once.

Thank you so much pippis! I've heard quite a lot of praise for this book, even my colleagues were talking about it during the coffee break. Love the cover.

Finished the book last night and I still have a bit of mixed feelings about it. It was interesting and good, alright. But in the end I wasn't as surprised as I excepted with the outcome, the only surprise was in the beginning of part two as I realized I've been fooled. Unfortunately people like Ian exists, I must admit that his part of the story was the most interesting.

Yeah, I agree with pippis, maybe there was too many levels added to one book. But it managed to keep me interested. I just hate that the end of the book was left quite open.
