Quickly read, surprisingly enjoyable! Oscar Wilde turns detective, Paris, drugs, drink, depravity, murders, or are they suicides? or are they murders after all? When I reached the end, I realised there was a big clue somewhere in the middle that I'd noticed but not taken as a clue... Clever. I liked the way real people were woven into the narrative, and was happy to meet Paderewski at the piano, as I have walked along his boulevard in Vevey hundreds of times.
