WILD RELEASE NOTES:
Releasing as part of the "L" Author bookring.
This book arrived with the "L" authors' bookring. This book is staying in the ring.
notes from my copy:
This book took the author 9 years to write. And he included all the major incidents in it: Columbine, Katrina, 9/11 aftermath and the start of the war in Iraq. Toss in PTSD, dysfunctional families, child abuse, homicide, narcotic addiction, alcholism. Then digress into the protagonists ancestors and how a women's prison got built on his land (where is wife is serving her homicide sentence is being served), and I stopped reading. Skipped to the ending to see if I was going to miss anything by not reading the last 450 pages. Nope. If the author focused on one event, and fictionalized it more, the story would have been much, much better.
Leaving this in the "L" bookring
