Amazon Besprechung der Redaktion:
"THE NO.1 LADIES' DETECTIVE AGENCY introduced the world to the one and only Precious Ramotswe - the engaging and sassy owner of Botswana's only detective agency. TEARS OF THE GIRAFFE, McCall Smith's second book, takes us further into this world as we follow Mama Ramotswe into more daring situations ...Among her cases this time are wayward wives, unscrupulous maids, and the challenge to resolve a mother's pain for her son who is long lost on the African plains. Indeed, Mma Ramotswe's own impending marriage to the most gentlemanly of men, Mr J.L.B. Matekoni, the promotion of Mma's secretary to the dizzy heights of Assistant Detective, and the arrival of new members to the Matekoni family, all brew up the most humorous and charmingly entertaining of tales."

Farewell, dear little book, and it would be great, to hear of your adventures from time to time!
Thank you bluezwuzl for sending this book, as well as a Kate Atkinson novel, a great selection of teas, postcards, bookmarks and a lovely book bag, my way for the Tea and Mystery Sweeps. Even the box used to package everything is so delightful and summery, a heartwarming yellow background with sweet florals on top. I am beyond ecstatic to receive your package. Thank you very much.
I have not read either book. They are both from authors I am eager to read. I am pretty sure I will enjoy them very much, and will be doing so while sipping the lovely tea.
PS. I just love this book cover. Its artwork brings such a smile to my face. Everything you sent look beautiful. 8)

Another enjoyable read by Alexander McCall Smith. I prefer the 44 Scotland Street series, but this one is quite fun to read as well.
