"Nothing links person to person like the frequent passage from hand to hand of a good book."
I enjoyed this story and the movie that was based on it. Stories about law in general usually interest me.
Mick Haller (Matthew McConaughey in the 2010 movie) is a charismatic defense attorney who does business out of his Lincoln Continental sedan. Most of his practice involves defending petty crooks. It is a surprise to him when he lands a much more upscale case involving defense of a Beverly Hills playboy who is accused of attempted murder.
A wandering book -- the karma of literature!
