I found this fair-condition softcover at a local thrift shop or library sale. The cover art intrigued me, as did the topic - essays and stories on nature, travel, and fishing. The author comments on the desire (however unrealistic) to keep stretches of river to one's self, on what he can learn by simply being quiet while on the water, on the unexpected sighting of a pair of completely nude anglers up in Yellowstone Park (all I could think of was "mosquitos, much?"), and on many different kinds of fishing, from ice fishing to fly-fishing to the simplest pole/hook/worm variety.
