I found this slightly-battered softcover at Annie's Book Stop in Nashua. It's a variation on the solve-it-yourself-mysteries genre, here using a series of photographs to provide the clues needed by the reader.
I really liked the game mechanics here, which allow for solitary play or team play, with a point system in case you want to compare results. (I skipped that part, but it looked quite sensible.) The structure includes keyed suspect-pages, clues, and results, all in a layout that helps minimize accidental readings of the wrong bits - aka spoilers. I tried most of the cases and was pleased to spot the clues in many - but there were some in which the photo-resolution wasn't quite clear enough to make the significant elements apparent (even with a magnifying glass). And in a few cases, the nature of the clues was very much of the period - the ones hinging on safety matches vs. the other kind come to mind {wry grin}. But in general I found it very entertaining, with some decent mysteries and clever clues.
