This is going out in my manga and graphic novel book box.
I was surprised and pleased to find all 14 volumes of this series in the manga/graphic novel bookbox! I'd read Vol. 1, but not the rest, so I'm taking them all!
Talk about a spectacular finale - this one had so many ups and downs I got dizzy. Was very happy at Aki's role - and pleasantly surprised at Kagami's as well. Given the mystical background to all this, I can't complain at some of the more convenient magical fixes - and the characters certainly bought their futures (those that have any) dearly!
[There's a TV Tropes page for the series, with comments on the manga and on the anime.]

I'm sending this 14-volume set to BCer azuki in Florida. Enjoy!
Wow finally I am journaling the last of the volume. I couldn't help myself and read part of it. It's a beautiful ending, even if it's not all happily ever after - I hope this is not a spoiler for future reader, but really you can't expect an all's-well ending if you've read volume 1.
Thank you again Nim for putting this in the bookbox and to Gory for saving the whole set for me. Thank you, thank you! Now I just hope the hurricane is not going to come and make wood pulp out of this.... >_<

What a beautiful but bittersweet ending. I went to Youtube and watched the video too (per one of Watase's side panels, the anime went straight to video without going to tv as the slightly adult content was deemed inappropriate for broadcast) which was quite nice as well. They managed to keep the characters as pretty as the book as well as staying true to the original, except for Kagami's back story, which could have been explained in another episode.
Thank you again nimrodiel and gorydetail for sharing this wonderful series. The manga bookbox just arrived here so the whole 14 volumes will go into it for the next reader to enjoy.

Found out that a wonderful friend of mine, besides sharing a love for food, also shares a love for manga. She has read Absolute Boyfriend and Fushigi Yugi, so needless to say, she has to read this series!! Passing this on and hopefully will loop in a new BookCrosser!
