Over the weekend, my husband and I found several books from the Scholastic Canada Biographies series at a charity shop in our neighbouring city, Kitchener ON. Since I have dedicated my bookcrossing activity for 2017 to the sharing of Canadian stories, I thought these books would make good inclusions in my own personal Canada 150 project.

Today, I gave this book a quick read. I had never heard of one of the Canadian inventors and didn't know a whole lot about a couple of the others, so it was interesting.

I don't know when/where I will pass this book along just yet, but I plan to release it sometime this year.

While in London this afternoon, I left this book outside of St. George's Public School on Waterloo Street. I chose this location because one of the inventors in this book, Rachel Zimmerman, was a kid attending this school when her career as an inventor began. Because school is out for the summer, I left the book hanging (in a protective bag) from the fence of the walkway to the playground/sports facilities behind the school, right along the Waterloo Street sidewalk.
