Going to my partner in the International Secret Santa. Not a wishlist book but I know she likes Cecelia Ahern and this is a relatively new book so fingers crossed it's not a duplicate!

Oh my, thank you so much! This one has been on it's way to my wishlist for a while, how did you know? :) Now, who wouldn't love Ahern's miraculous stories for adults?

It was quite good, had definitely a bit of Ahern's magical touch. Interesting story, but nothing surprising in the end. I would have loved to read more about how Lyrebird felt about of discovering the new world, as the sound-making was interesting.

Thank you bookwormess, this was certainly a great way to help you move!

There might have been some of Ahern's original magic in the story, but unfortunately very fleetingly. Everything was too predictable, the reality show plot booo-ringggg and Laura's relationship with her uncle and life after returning to the mountain would have been a million times more interesting. I couldn't help it, but Little Voice kept popping into mind all the time..not sure this was _so_ original after all.. Hopefully the next reader will be more enchanted with Lyrebird!
