The Battle of the Labyrinth (Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Book 4)
2 journalers for this copy...
A book that I recently acquired for the purposes of giving it away at an upcoming book festival with my friends in BCinDC.
Like all books for younger readers that I register, this is done in memory of Becky, the daughter of a dear friend and fellow bookcrosser, ResQgeek, who was tragically killed in August 2010.
Becky's love lives in you! Live her love by sharing Becky's hugs! Visit the Becky's Hugs page at Facebook. http://www.BeckysHugs.com
My earlier review of this book :
My favorite of the Percy Jackson series, for sure! Perhaps it has something to do with the fact that I loved the story of the labyrinth in Greek mythology. I also really like the character of Rachel Elizabeth Dare and am intrigued as to whether she has a connection with any of the immortals or not. The various adventures and encounters were exciting and interesting and amusing all at once and the question of romance between the various characters was just enough in the background to keep it from detracting from the adventure. I was so proud of both Tyson and Grover in this story -- they both did incredibly brave things and overcame their inherent differences to work together. And I have hope for the son of Hades, which is a strange sentence to write.

This one came home with me after the Kensington Day of the Book Festival last weekend.
Jack, the little boy down the street, was looking for Rick Riordan books in my Little Free Library this weekend, so I know where this one is going.
