I was on holiday in the Netherlands, visiting my partner's parents, and was thrilled to find the book in the streets of Maastricht. Being a big reader - and a fairly critical one at that - I thought the book was probably a bit of pulp fiction, but actually, I found the plot interesting, and it was fairly well written. It was quite sexy in parts too! Would recommend it as historical light chick lit - fun and easy and well written.
